Dear Community Partner: For 111 years, People’s Independent Church of Christ has faithfully served Los Angeles through ministry, education, outreach, and community engagement. Since 1915, we have believed that our work extends beyond the sanctuary and includes strengthening the spiritual, educational, social, and economic well-being of our community.
As we celebrate this historic milestone, we are proud to host our Inaugural Golf Tournament on Tuesday, December 1st, 2026, at Maggie Hathaway Golf Course. This tournament is more than a celebration—it is an opportunity to swing into action and help level the playing field for the next generation. Proceeds will help advance two important initiatives: providing scholarships for college and post-secondary students and supporting the relaunch and expansion of the People’s Independent Community Credit Union.
SWING INTO ACTION FOR EDUCATION & ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT Our Scholarship Program will provide educational assistance to deserving students pursuing college, vocational training, and other post-secondary opportunities. We want to help students overcome financial barriers, pursue their educational goals, and prepare for careers that can lead to economic mobility and long-term independence. We are also building upon our legacy of community engagement by relaunching and expanding the People’s Independent Community Credit Union as a community-focused financial institution committed to economic empowerment.
Our vision is to create greater access to affordable financial services and resources, including home loans, automobile loans, savings, financial education, credit-building resources, entrepreneurship support, and pathways to asset building and generational wealth. For 111 years, we have invested in people. Now we are preparing to drive that legacy forward—helping students pursue higher education while creating greater opportunities for individuals and families to save, own, build, and thrive.

Hole Sponsor — $500 Includes designated hole signage, sponsor recognition, event-day acknowledgment, and two (2) complimentary golfer registrations.
Champion Sponsor — $350 Includes sponsor recognition, event-day acknowledgment, and one (1) complimentary golfer registration.
Partners may also contribute goods, services, gift certificates, experiences, and merchandise for our Silent Auction, as well as promotional products and gifts for our golfer swag bags. TAKE A SWING.
